Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music has been featured in films and television shows including How to Be Single Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. Taylor Momsen attended the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. At the age of three, she began her acting career as a professional as a part of a nationally telecast Shake and Bake commercial. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for three years prior to being chosen to play the lead role in Misconceptions which is a WB TV series. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. Momsen also tried out for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the part was awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.

Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as as seen through flashback) her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. Her parents, however, didn't want her to pursue acting until she became older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry stated that she was too timid to perform in high school but began doing shows at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred from Boston University.
