Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one female ever to win at the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also a CrossFit athlete and a famous journalist. It was her fame that made her the first woman to be the first person who won two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017, and 2013. Annie was raised in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland along with her family. As a working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in various school games and won several medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California and did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's age will be 31 in 2021. Her height is 5'7" and her weight is around the 67-kg mark. Annie took up CrossFit in California in 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing in the top 10. Though she wasn't able to take home any title She finished in eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. After a year of CrossFit Games Annie took home her debut CrossFit Games. The dominating performance was enough to earn her the title. In 2012, Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. At present, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. After gaining fame as an athlete, Annie has become a celebrity many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance The Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick, Yerbae among others. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie", with over 3,000 followers. These include videos on eating habits for training and life with family.
